Τα θέματα που θίγονται περιλαμβάνουν: την καθιέρωση της κυριακάτικης αργίας και της μονιμότητας των δημοσίων υπαλλήλων στα 1909-11, τον ορισμό της έννοιας του 'λαϊκισμού' και τη χρήση της για την ερμηνεία της συνεργασίας δεξιών και αριστερών ριζοσπαστών στα 1909-10, τη νομοθεσία ενάντια στην 'αισχροκέρδεια' απ’ το 1916 κ.ε. τις συγκρούσεις στο εσωτερικό της εργατικής τάξης και το αίτημα 'εθνικής προτίμησης' των ντόπιων έναντι των προσφύγων στα 1914-16, τις αντιλήψεις για το έθνος και τον διεθνισμό των πρώτων Ελλήνων σοσιαλιστών, τον φασισμό στη μεσοπολεμική Ελλάδα.
